March 7th 2017, 1100

Arlyn had a little trouble last night and mommy and daddy did rotations last evening. Arlyn needed to go back on Cpap because her respiratory rate was 80-90 Breaths per min ( typically babies are 20-50ish) The deciding factor was her Xray that was worse when they checked her at 2300 last evening. After they applied Cpap and started with aggressive check PT every hour. At 0400 her chest X-ray looked better and they decided during rounds since she has been net positive the last few days to give her a third dose of lasix today and continue with twice a day lasix tomorrow. She is at goal for tube feeding and now being fortified with formula, they discussed increasing the fortification if she continues to struggle to gain weight. Today the cardiology NP will stop by and remove her wound vac on her chest. Arlyn certainly likes playing shoots and ladders but overall she looks comfortable and she really is doing well. I was able to bath her again today and she has new cloths to wear. We plan to bring some newborn outfits in for her to wear.

Going home at noon to be there for when the boys get out of school. Miss them so much and so excited to see Kolby and Calogero. Hopefully we will speak with the geneticist about Turners Syndrome before we go otherwise likely tomorrow.

Such a beautiful little girl
